Warm-Up-Colum-Y

If I were to design my own Yearbook, I would make it unique. I would make sure to include how Point Loma was before and compare it to now. I would include the most important events as well as all the games won by our Pointers.

Warm-Up-Colum-W

This year I met a guy that has seriously changed my life. Seeing him around with a fake leg was really irritating me because inside of me I felt like it wasn't fair. Everyone deserves to have everything put together in their body. At first I thought if myself, knowing that my past was really rough kind of made me think about him, I said to myself "why is it that I feel bad for him if he's perfectly fine, hes smiling and that's all that matters." Now that motivates me, because having cancer as a young kid was extremely hard, but I still have everything, and him, hes missing a leg but is still here smiling.

Warm-Up-Colum-R

Something that I have thrown away, that now I think about and want it back, would be a lot of my cloths that I didn't use anymore. I regret it because I could've gave it to someone else that really needed it.

Warm-Up-Column-M

A machine I would invent would be a machine to do my homework, so I wouldn't have to do it. Just lay back and let it do its thing. I honestly hate the idea of having homework, that at times I just don't do it. I would just give it a pencil or pen which ever is necessary and let it work its magic.

Warm-Up-Column-L

Things you are tired of people complain about.

One of the thing's I hear people complaining about is being tired of Point Loma High School. It bothers me to know the people that complain about it are still here. Complaining about the fact that you don't like the school doesn't make any difference. If the school really bothers you then a suggestion would be to move.

Warm-up-Colum-E

E - Evaluate the latest evolution someone gave you.  (Think report card)

Being the only freshman girl in my spanish class required me to work twice as hard. Thinking the class would be too hard made me realize that in the long run I would want to move. My last test required a B or an A to stay in the class or move to a lower spanish class. The day the grades were out my teacher was very proud and said "I evaluated your skills very well, I knew you would pass," those words made my day so much better. Im glad I didnt move.

Reflection

Since The Time Ive Been In Journalism, Ive Learned Many Things. One Of The Things I Will Take On Would Be That, Journalism Isn't Just About Taking Pictures And Writing What You Think About Them, Its About Capturing The Excitement and The Persons Expressions , Its About Putting Your Own Thoughts Into The Picture and Giving It A Twist That The Reader Wants To Read and Enjoy. I Believe People Should Go Deeper Into The World Of Journalism and Enjoy Its Exiting Qualities.

I Personally Really Liked The Fact That You Could Express Your Own Thoughts Into Your Writing Without Anyone Else Having To Judge It, You Let Your Thoughts Go and Make Them The Twist In Your Story. I Also Really Liked That We Can Keep Point Loma Students and Parents Updated Into What's Happening In School Campus. I Am Happy I Got The Chance To Go Deeper Into The World Of Journalism.

I Really Enjoyed Journalism, and I Have No Bad Experience From It.

I Think In The 2nd Semester Nothing Should Really Change, Maybe Let Us Students Express Ourselves In Our Own Or Others Writings.

I Wouldnt Mind Getting A B In This Class Because Unlike Many Of The Students Here, I Put Effort In My Writing Even If In The Begging I Didnt Really Like It , I Didnt Hold Back On Doing My Work.
